Image Crop & Rotate.

Keep the part you need and turn it the right way. Set a precise rectangle with keyboard controls, then preview the exact dimensions before exporting.

Up to 20 MiB, 24 megapixels and 12,000 px per side. Source orientation is applied. Source metadata is discarded from exports.

Output settings

Offsets start at the source image’s top-left after orientation. Type numbers or use arrow keys. A fixed ratio derives height from width, rounded to the nearest whole pixel; the final ratio may differ slightly. Crops must stay inside the source.

PNG is lossless. JPEG/WebP use the selected encoder quality; JPEG fills transparency with white. Unavailable formats are disabled.

The checkerboard indicates transparency. After export, the preview shows the actual encoded image. Outputs are limited to 60 MiB. Inspect fine details at full size.

Crop first, flip second, rotate last.

  1. Define the rectangle

For an 800 × 400 image, a left offset of 400 with width and height of 400 selects the right-hand square. Use freeform dimensions for any rectangle.

  2. Adjust orientation

Flips act on the selected source rectangle before clockwise rotation. Only quarter-turn rotations are offered, so no extra border or enlarged canvas is introduced.

  3. Check output pixels

    A 600 × 400 crop exports at 600 × 400 pixels, or 400 × 600 after a 90° or 270° rotation. We never scale the crop to an unrelated output size.

What to expect

Can I use this without a mouse?

Yes. Every coordinate, ratio, flip and rotation is a labeled form control. Tab through controls, type exact coordinates, or adjust number fields with arrow keys. Reset restores the full source rectangle.

Does rotation lose detail?

Quarter-turn geometry preserves the pixel grid. PNG avoids lossy encoding; JPEG and WebP may introduce compression changes. Source metadata is discarded during export.

Why does a fixed ratio change height?

Width drives height while a ratio is selected. Ratios are rounded to whole pixels. Increasing width or moving the crop beyond the source disables export until the rectangle fits.
