Your signature, ready for the next form. Draw it here or bring a photo, then turn the ink into a neatly sized image.

Focus the pad. Arrow keys move the blue cursor; hold Shift for larger steps. Space or Enter lowers or lifts the pen. The red cursor means ink is flowing. Escape lifts the pen. Tab leaves the pad. Undo removes a stroke, including a single dot.

A 1,000 × 400 px pad. Up to 500 strokes and 30,000 points. Line width applies to new strokes; ink color applies to the whole image.

Make it fit

Whitespace is trimmed to the remaining ink. Height follows its aspect ratio, with padding added on all sides. Output is limited to 4,000 px per side and 6 megapixels. Upscaling cannot add detail.

All detected ink is recolored, including uploaded signatures.

JPEG always uses white and lossy encoding at 95% quality. PNG supports transparency. Source metadata is discarded; browser-generated format or density tags may remain.

A signature that fits.

On your device

Your finished signature will appear here.

The checkerboard shows transparent areas; it is not part of your image. After export, the preview shows the actual encoded download. Outputs are capped at 60 MiB.

Ready for a form?

Check its required dimensions and format. Use the compressor if it also asks for a maximum file size.

Your signature stays with you. Drawing and image processing use browser memory. No uploads, accounts, cookies or saved drafts. Clear the drawing, remove the image or leave the page to release it. Downloaded files remain on your device.

From your handwriting to a useful image.

  1. Make your mark

Draw with a mouse, touch, pen or the keyboard. Or sign on plain light paper, photograph it in even light, and crop out any other text with Crop & Rotate.

  2. Prepare the ink

For photos, tune the paper cutoff until the background clears while your strokes remain. Choose ink color, pixel width and padding. The preview shows the calculated height.

  3. Save your signature

Create the image and inspect the actual result. Download transparent PNG to place over a document, or white-background JPEG when a form specifically requires it.

A few things to know before you sign.

Does this sign a PDF?

No. It creates an image of your handwriting. It does not insert it into a document, verify identity, or create a cryptographic digital signature. Use it only for signatures you are authorized to create.

Why is some paper still visible?

Extraction uses pixel brightness, not AI or handwriting recognition. Shadows, ruled lines, colored paper and other dark marks can remain. Use a tight crop and even lighting. Lowering the cutoff can also erase faint pen strokes.

Can I change the exact height?

Height is calculated from the trimmed ink and padding so handwriting keeps its proportions. Use the Document Photo Resizer for a fixed rectangle or physical dimensions.

Will every form accept it?

Requirements vary. Check file format, dimensions, maximum KB, ink color and background with the receiving service. This tool does not certify or guarantee acceptance.

Can I save my drawing and come back?

There are no saved drafts or accounts. Your drawing and selected image stay in memory only while you work. Download before leaving; clearing or navigating away releases that work.

What if I only need to remove image tags?

Signature extraction changes pixels and color. Use the Image Metadata Remover when you want a fresh copy of a photo without its original embedded tags.
