PDF: 5 mm margins, 3 mm spacing, up to 36 copies. Print at 100% / actual size; turn off “fit to page”.

Your photo, your device. No photo is sent to a server. Exports discard source metadata; transparent areas become white. Your background and face are not retouched.

From photo to paper, in three steps.

  1. Start with a suitable photo

Choose a sharp, well-lit photo with space around your head and shoulders. Use the background, expression and lighting required by your document issuer.

  2. Check the required dimensions

Enter your required width and height in millimetres. For example, a 35 × 45 mm crop at 300 DPI produces 413 × 531 pixels after rounding.

  3. Download and check your print

Save the JPEG for digital use or print the PDF. Measure a printed copy with a ruler before cutting it. Printer scaling can change physical dimensions.

A few things to know

Will this photo be officially accepted?

Acceptance is not guaranteed. This tool crops and sizes your photo. You must check your authority’s current rules for photo age, background, head size, expression, pixels and file size before submitting it.

Does the JPEG keep the selected DPI?

The resolution setting determines the exported pixel count. Browser JPEG exports may carry a different DPI tag. Use the PDF for physical sizing; its photo dimensions are stored in print units.

Can I remove the background?

This tool does not remove backgrounds or alter facial features. Transparent input pixels are flattened onto white for JPEG output. Take a new photo if your source background does not meet the rules.

Where is my photo stored?

It is held in browser memory while you work. Remove the photo or close the page to release it. Downloaded files remain wherever you save them. Read our privacy policy.

Need a smaller file or a mixed print sheet?

Use the image compressor on your downloaded JPEG to meet a maximum KB target. Turn resizing off if you need to preserve this photo’s pixel dimensions.

To print several different photos together, use thePhoto Print Sheet Maker with A4 or Letter paper, adjustable margins and per-image copy counts.
